What am i missing

For my last blog, i will do making a special one.
I tell you what am i missing form my trip and why.

I missing a lot of things in the house from my homestay, such as:

I like stairs with floor cover, because i walk with socks in house and with floor cover on the stairs is perfect.

Dave has my dream guitar. It is so beautiful guitar, with a guitar ribbon and ( slagplaat ) the brown oval shape on the guitar.

 Of course i missing the piano because, we don't have a piano. I have a lot spend time at the piano. The piano songs i can do now:

The beautiful vieuw, when i was going to go to school on the bike. A drawback, the sea smelt a disgusting.

                                        
They have Poundland, that is the perfect store!! As you understand, you can bought all for 1 pound or less than 1 pound. They have Food- Drinks- Clothing and Decoration.

My Hostfamily, They are verry lovely. If you have a question, they would help you. If you don't like the food, you can say what you like. I missing my hostfamily a lot of course.

Martha, the Spanish student in house. She feel like a littl sister for me. We are playing cards game on the Sunday togheter with Oliva. The sunday was Lazy day. And we see each other a lot.

And the last but not least, PETTY . The puppy in house. When i was woke up they coming to you, to say: Goodmorning!!
Now i wil also a labrador puppy! But i need to wait a long time.

Saturday

It is finish!! my 1 month in England. I have learn a lot.
In the morning i packed my suitcases till in the afternoon. Before i go, we make i grouppicture ( with Dave, Cecillia and Oliva)  On 3 pm i has the train to Gatwick airport. Dave bring me to Worthing station.

On Gatwick airport they have automatic systeem for your suitcase, it is terrible. Of course it will not working with my suitcase. You need to scan your boardingpass, put your suitcase on the assembly line and put the sticker with the country on your suitcase. But my boardingpas was not working, i have try 5 times. There was a women and told me, you need to go to the row and they help you with the suitcase. 5 minutes later, again a women asked me: Do you have try with the automatic systeem? I say yes of course 5 times but it is not working, she would me helping with the systeem. 10 minutes later, my suitcase was omw to the airplane.

Gatwick Airport is big, a lot of shops and restaurant. I need to wait till 7 pm.
We have lucky, the airplane has not delay!!
In Netherland were nice people waiting on me!! And surprise me neighbour had come also!!
Of course first eating ' Bitterballen'
I am verry happy, i am back home.

My last week #4

Monday

Today i am going after school to Chichester, but the weather today is terrible.
I have lucky, i was in the train and started to rain. The city has a lot of shops and cafe´s or restaurants. Of course i have bought souvenirs.

The train on the route back, was a little bit weird. I was thinking i´m in a thalys. Because there hanging on all seats tickets occupied for some time. Only i have see that later, and the seats are verry comfortable.

In the evning i have playing a card game with Oliva en Martha. The name is: Asshole, i am happy i was 3 times the president ( i have won )

   










Tuesday

In the afternoon, i was going together with Cecilia to Arundel. That is verry populair place about the beautiful castle. We have watching for a handbag in the shops, because there are verry cheap. But we don't find a nice one. We have eating a sconens and drinking thea in a Britisch old cafe. It was a nice day.




Wednesday

It was terrible terrible weather today again. On every Wedsnesday is a market in the centrum of Worthing. I was thinking it is my last week here, i go watching at the market. But i think because of the weather there a few stand. There was only 2 backery stand and 1 hamburgers and chips.

Friday

YEEEEE it is my last school day!!! There are leaving 8 students. In the last lessons we need to speak for the class, about what we have learning, what we don't missing and which places we have vissit.
Classmate has a movie making for me, so i can later watching back what i have to say,

Sunday Bakeday

Its bakingday!! But first sleeping out, verry important in the weekend.
 Now they want to know, i like baking. They would now of course that i go baking.

Cecilla bought for me in the moring puff pastry and appels because that is verry important.
In the afternoon i went to start baking. Everybody they told me, hmmm it smelt so good, it was verry funny.

I have baking ´appelflappen´ ( appel turnover ). But it looks like sausage roll 😂
Unfortunately i can not find the picture.

Saturday Lancing

10/8/2019


I dont have plans for today. First i was thinking about littl hampton, but when i was woke up, there was storm. I has change my plans. In the afternoon i was walking to lancing. normal it is 45 minutes.
But with the storm i was there earlier, 30 minuts. Google maps is the best invention.

In a shop, i asked a women, where is the centre. Her answer: If you go left is Worthing, and go Right is Brighton. Oke thank you. Apperntly i was in the centre, with 5 stores.

On the route back to home, was there a restaurant nearby the beach. Before you can go inside, Was a large lawn with a little steps, but the winding was to much. I fell down the steps, it was verry funny. After a good glas appeljuice with ice. Was time for walking back to home. The winding was verry heavy, normal walking was not possible. So i went walking vice versa. There was a lot of cars the watching me, but i was thinking: ' I dont care'

Weekblog #3

Monday

Today are coming new students! They are 3 adults, for the first time we have adults in the classroom. One of the adults are a teacher. She told me, when i am back i have also a class with creazy children.
I understand no more of the grammer, than at the beginning.

After school, i was going with Quint for the last time to Brighton, for the sea life. It was verry big. We have dinner at a top restaurant, Jbs American Dinner. For the first time, i have eat the whole burger.  Quint has to order a milkshake.

Thursday

It was time for a discussie for the second time with the teacher. We has a test, about the grammer and gadgets. There was a question, it was a sense:  A part of an electronic device that the sound comes out of. My answer: ( sound ) box. But the correct answer is speaker. I told him it is the same, he said no, that isn't. He said to me you do not laugh. I was thinking euhm sorry but i am not laugh.

The test was verry bad, because all the grammar was wrong. There was 76 questions, and i has 26 good. I have askes my teacher for extra homework for the grammer, but he dont give me. Now has my hostmother good sites for to practise my grammer. I am verry happy with her.

Friday

We has a nice lesson today. We has a couple of questions. such as:
- Do you believe in ghosts. ( there was 4 people )
- Are you affraid of anything ( my classmate was thinking i have a fobie for the bus, because i am not going with the bus to school. )
- How many colours does your country flag consist of?
And there was a question: are you proud of your country when you heard the anthem.
now, was there a couple of people the need the anthem of the own country.
I still enjoyed the itliaanse anthem!! so beautiful. I like it verry much.

After school i was meet with a friend of my, also from switzerland. She aske a friend of her, we are playing midgetgolf. Whe has a lot of fun.

London ( Sunday )

We are going to London, for both of us, the first time.
First 1 houre with the train from station Worthing to London Victoria. We have bought in london a Subway card for the full day. Finally not so much traveled by subway. First we have see Bucket Palace, it was verry bussy because there was a wheeler race.

 Whe are walking to the London eye and we have see the big ben scaffolding. Whe are not in to the London eye because the price is to expensive for a ride in a ferris wheel. In London they have beautiful restaurants with gold and black outside and a lot of flowers. In London they have a big M&M store and i like M&M's. Only i have nothing to bought because i can not eat M&M with peanut. They has a lot of different collours with the peanut. But nothing without the peanut. It was a verry big store, and i am happy that i have visit the store.

Today was my mission: take a picture from the typical taxi. This is the result:

 It was to close, i was thinking now i have perfect the button with ' Taxi' But i don't.

This one is much better, maybe a little bit to far. 

Pride Brighon ( Saturday )

It is Pride day!!

We are going the train at 10.15 so we could take it easy and it is not to restless. When we walking to the shopping street, you see a lot of rainbow Tshirts- Unicorn stuff- bracelet and a lot of splendour people. I say to Quint i need also a rainbow or Unicorn stuf. I was going to a party store and bought unicorn ears and i have balloon for my birthday. We are lunching in a italiaan restaurant, it was delicious. After lunching we have also see the parade of the pride. It is differents than te canel pride in Amsterdam. There are now stand on trucks, walking next the cars or Police and Ambulance cars with siren. When the pride was finish we can to cross to the pier. I was thinking Quint likes attraction he is going to a attraction, but he is never gone. We has see a midget golf course. The winner is the next day went we see each other, the boss foor the full day in holland. Unfortunately i am lost. We have dinner by the Tortilla!!

It was a great day!

Week blog #2

Monday

Today is my second week started. In the morning asks Cecilla: What is going on? My answer: There is nothing. Martha asked me: What is going on? My answer again, there is nothing. I was to school, in school there a couple of students they asked me: What is going on? My answer again, There is nothing. I asked my friend, do i look different? She said: no your are looking good, it is weird that people you asked the question. After school we going to Kaspas ( Dessert sky ) with a few friends.

Tuesday

Now i understand why all the people my asked the question, what is going on. I am sick.
I have: stomach ache, nauseous and i has a high tempratuur. I was a lot of sleeping today, Cecilla told me: You need to have rest.

Wednesday

I feel my a much better than yesterday but i was only in the morning to school. Because Friday is Quint comming till Tuesday and i want to feel my better and making fun. Cecilla thought it a aslo good plan. In the afternoon i was chilling and again sleeping.

Thursday

Finaly i could spend a full day to school. It wsa also my last week and last day for my afternoon lessons. The afternoon teacher was verry funny. He was a couple of years ago visit The Netherlands, he wants to try speaking a dutch word. He spoke: Dank u wel. It was verry good. He sayd to the class, everybody visit Amsterdam is beautiful and a good city. I say no, no not Amsterdam, Amsterdam is not good, better you visit Utrecht is much better. The teacher is from Italy, he has aslo about Italy, is beautiful country. It was a funny lesson.

Friday

Yeeeee today in the evening is Quint comming!!! But furst in the morning to school.
Also it was the last day of Jenny, my best friend from the school. after school we are going to lunching in a restaurant. Finaly not lunching sandwiches again, but we have panini!!
After lucnhing we go to the boulevar in Worthing to the attraction, with a another friend of us. When we are sitting in a attraction, my friends a verry happy and i was verry afraid. I was screamming: Mother, Mother and nooooo and we all screamming verry loud. A couple of people they are watching and has a lot of fun. After one attraction, we are going to another one. That was my big mistake in my life. There was a sign, we only stop with emergency. It was a attracion wich only turnend.  I was thinking i am emergency because i say a couple of times, that the need to stop. I was to dizzy, my neck was hurt and i was verry verry nauseous. After the attraction i was going to home. In the evening round 10 PM i picked up Quint by the trainstation, and we walked to the airbnb from Quint. But it was stuppid, we were in the wrong street. Finaly we have find it!

Chill weekend

Hello everybody,

This weekend, was verry chill.

Saturday

Today i was with Jenny, shopping in Worthing. Because it is her last week, she bought souvenirs for her parents. I was also looking, i have only a hair elastic to bought ;). After shopping we walking on the pier. We making pictures, and talking alot,
In the evening there was Firework at 22.00. My hostfamily was not going because the little dog, but i meeting there Jenny and ohter classmates.

Sunday

On Sunday are the most stores closed in Worthing. Worthing is not a big centrum.
First what we do in the weekend, sleeping out!!!!. Then a good breakfast with beans in tomato sauce or fish or Croissant or normal a toast. After the good breakfast can you go starting with your homework, the laundry and cleaning your room. In the afternoon i was chilling with Jenny in a parc, because i was done with all.
The weather was not so good, verry winding.

week blog #1

Tuesday

Today i have my first long schoolday, 09.30- 16.30.
In the morning we have grammar of Bruce, he is a good teacher. After Bruce we have May, she is a old women but verry lovely and funny. In the afternoon lessons we have Chris. Whe had to proposals in groups of 3. After we got a list with a lot of questions such as:
- Find someone who has been on holiday alone
- Find someone who has always packs his/her suitcase at the last minute
- Find someone who always buys local artefacts as souvenirs.
And a lot of another.

Wednesday

it was a verry hot day 28 degrees. That's mean, a fan in the classroom and all the windows open. unfortunately not the windows can open. In the morning lessons we  have 12 students in the afternoon lessons we have 6 students. I dont like Chris because, we have in the morning the fan behind in the classroom so everybody is feeling the fan. But chris moved the fan, next to him only for him. everybody don't feel the fan. I had muscle ache because i was fanning with a notebook for breeze.

Thursday

We are starting the day with a test, every Thursday we have a test. The test about, Grammar- Vocabulary and reading. Grammar is verry dificult and reading is good.
In the afternoon we have the same problem as yesterday with the man and fan. Also we has a commision but i dont understand and the other students also not. The answer van Chris: It is easy.
Before the afternoon lesson was started,  We have asked if we should get a different teacher, because all the reasons. We need to check the list Thuesday for the class.
In the evening i was go with my friends to karaoke night in the pub, it was funny.

Friday

Yes today we have lesson til 13.00. Every Friday they are leaving people, today there leaving 5 students of my group. they need to told to the class, about the nice thins and bad things. We have make a groups picture. After the lessons i was go with friends to Brighton. ( 5 Spanish, 1 tokyo, 1 switzerland ). We have walking on the pier, they have a lot of attraction such as: Rollercoaster, haunted house and a lot of things. Whe have a nice dinner at ´Tortilla´. I thought the actuation they speak spanish, because my friends speak the full day spanish and not english. I thought i am in spain eating mexicaans. But i am in english where they speak spanish.

First Schoolday

Hello everybody

From today i starting with writing in English.

Today was my first schoolday, i was a little bit nerveus. Cecilla. She took me to the corner of the school.
I need to say my first and last name. We got explanation over the bulletion board. There are activiteits on. The school is not big, but i get lost already with so many doors. they have a total of 15 classrooms. 

I was with a couple of 12 students, making a test. It was a grammatica test and you need to writing about your country. Of course i writing good things about The Netherlands. Such as: Klompen, stroopwafel, de grachten and of course tulpen.

We has a mini break. After the mini break, We were put in the class of your own level. My level is: B1
We need to introduce with a couple of questions.
1. Your name and Country
2. What food do you choose what you 1 month long should eat.
3. What does it say on the top of your bucket list
4. To witch country would you like to emigeren and why
5. What animal would you be and why

We need to get oures book at 1 pm.
After class i went with classmates to exploring worthing. after we go to the cinema, watching The lion king.
Next to me sat a boy, he told me that we are on the same school are. I sayed: oohwjaaa?????
After the movie, he asked if i still came with friends from school? i told him, i am tired and have a lot of hungry ( it was 19.00 ). He was going with me, driving home on bicycle. 

And dad, mam can we have also a puppy labrator, look how sweet!!!!

Eerste dag in Worthing

Vanmorgen was ik vroeg op 07.00 uur. Het hondje was al uit zijn bench en het baasje aan het wakker maken boven, Cecillia en haar dochter waren ook al beneden ( rond 08.00 ). Lekker ontbijt gegeten, geroosterd brood, fruit en natuurlijk een kop Engelse thee met melk. Na het eten kwam de spaanse student ook naar beneden, even gekletst met haar. Zij gaat lopend naar school, dus ik heb ook nog de optie lopend met haar naar school toe te gaan.

Na het ontbijt ben ik met Cecilla, de dochter en haar man het hondje wezen uit laten bij de zee. Het weer was lekker niet koud. Daarna ging ik met Cecilla fietsen naar mijn school toe, waar ik morgen naar toe ga! Het is ongeveer 10 minuten fietsen.

We hebben in de middag met elkaar geluncht. Je kon zelf sandwiches maken, ze had ook nog gezouten chips op tafel gezet en brownies. Helaas zaten er in de brownies noten, dus moest ik het over slaan.

Om 14.00 uur ging ik zelf nog lopen naar het centrum toe van Worthing. Momenteel is er kermis op de boulevard omdat het vakantie is. Er is nu ook een reuzenrad op de pier.
Ik was opzoek naar een supermarkt, was moeilijk te vinden. Uiteindelijk ging ik maar met google maps zoeken naar een supermarkt. Heb een supermarkt gevonden, maar ze hebben er niet veel.

Thuis nog gevraagd aan Cecilla waar ik een grote supermarkt kan vinden, ze had het mij uitgelegd het is handig om er met de fiets heen te gaan. Dus goed om te weten voor de volgende keer.

Ik ga straks lekker Lasagne eten, relaxen en dan lekker slapen!!

Onderweg naar Worthing

Om 09.00 werd ik wakker voor de laatste keer voorlopig in mijn eigen lekkere bed. Na een heerlijk ontbijt van warme gebakken broodjes en verse jus d´ orange , heb ik mijn laatste koffer dicht gedaan.
Precies om 10.30 zijn we met de auto naar Schiphol gereden, met een paar keer omrijden zijn we er uit eindelijk gekomen. Snel door de regen rennen met 1 vol geladen zware koffer en nog 1 mini zwarte koffer. De rij voor waar ik mijn koffers moesten achter laten was nog al lang, maar al snel was ik aan de beurt. Blijkbaar was mijn naam niet goed wat er op mijn ticket stond. ( Roepnaam op ticket, Doopnaam op ID kaart ). Uiteindelijk natuurlijk goed gekomen.
Snel mijn ouders en mijn vriend moeten dag zeggen, want ja die konden niet verder met mij mee.
Bij de douane kon ik gelijk doorlopen( Die vrouw dacht dat ik Engels sprak, dus zij begon allemaal Engelse dingen tegen mij te praten ). Vervolgens moest ik nog door de paspoort controle, Ze hadden mij de verkeerde kant op gestuurd. Waar ik stond moest je zelf je paspoort onder een apparaat leggen en zou er een camera jouw ga scannen, ik stond in dat poortje maar ik heb alleen een ID pas. Natuurlijk stonden er al 5 mensen achter mij, en ik moest daar weg. Toen ik uiteindelijk door de paspoort controle kwam, dacht ik dat ik bij de VIP afdeling was beland. Alles was zo netjes, bij de toilet ging alles automatisch, super schoon. Alleen wel jammer dat bij mij het toiletpapier natuurlijk op was.
Lekkere loungebanken, schone tafels, goede banken, goed uitzicht en wat wil je nog meer? Ja ik weet het!! Dat je niet nog een pokken eind moet lopen naar je Gate. Er staat op het bord 15 minuten lopen voordat je er bent, ben je op de helft van de Nijmegense vierdaagse.

De vliegreis was letterlijk zo gevlogen, lekker mijn ogen dicht gedaan en in eens zijden ze dat we al weer gingen landen. Alles goed gegaan qua paspoort controle en koffer ophalen. Zelfs een kaartje zelfstandig kopen in het Engels ging goed. Waar het fout ging, nam de verkeerde trein. Kwam uit bij Brighton, daar de goede trein gevraagd en bij Worthing er uit gegaan. Heel blij trouwens dat er een man zag, dat ik het niet meer zag zitten met die koffers tillen in de trein, dus die vroeg of die mij kon helpen!!

Super lief opgevangen door Cecillia. House tour gekregen. Lekker avond gegeten typisch Engels en nog lekker gerust.
